Descriptive statistics; probability models; statistical estimation and hypothesis testing; linear regression analysis; and special topics. (In order to satisfy the University Core Mathematics requirement with STAT 152, a student must also complete MATH 126 R with a C- or better or achieve a score of 27 or better on ACT, or 610 or better on SAT, or a satisfactory score on an appropriate readiness test.)
