How to Apply
A Checklist for Applying to Nevada
- Choose a method for applying.
- Fill out the Application for Admission and Scholarships.
- Enclose the $60 application fee (check made payable to Board of Regents), if mailed. If applying online, use your Credit Card or Pay by Check.
- If not applying online, send your applications and fee to:

- Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov
by March 1 for maximum consideration. If you apply after that date, you will be considered for any remaining
funds as of the date we receive your application. Need-based financial aid is awarded on a first-come,
first-serve basis to eligible students. Obtain these from your high school counselor or college financial
aid office.
- Arrange for your high school or college to send transcripts directly to:

- If you have attended any other colleges, arrange for the school to send transcripts directly to Admissions & Records.
- If you are under 25 years of age, have your ACT or SAT I test scores sent to Admissions & Records.
- Send a copy of your immunization records for measles, mumps, rubella and diphtheria/tetanus to Admissions & Records. Your immunizations must include two doses for MMR and DT within the last 10 years.

- If you are accepted for admission, you will be notified by Admissions & Records. You will receive a letter of acceptance and an admission packet.
